Global community engagement (service-learning) is often framed as a culturally immersive experience that enables deeper integration within host communities abroad. This session demonstrates how the skills and competencies acquired through service-learning also lead to greater career readiness. Sharing student outcomes from programs facilitated by our organizations, this session will provide a template for fostering growth and professional development through community engagement.
