As the Sustainability & Strategic Partnerships Director at IOI, Daniel has been a keen supporter and advocates for the implementation of the UN SDGs as a framework to assess and evaluate the global impact of EA and international education. Daniel was one of the panelists at NAFSA's 2020, Global Issues Panel: Higher Education and Environmental Sustainability and is a member of The Forum on Education Abroad working group that helped draft the “Aligning International Education with the SDG” guidelines and is the current VP of the Climate Action Network of International Educators (CANIE) European Chapter and the co-chair of the Sustainability MIG.
